Youth Apprenticeship for Moville
May 2009
In Spring 2009 Youth Action Norther Ireland invested £1.4 million in 43 youth apprenticeships aged 18-24 years.
These young community leaders from different backgrounds and traditions across Northern Ireland and the border counties will be employed to work together to build a better and more peaceful future.
Four of these work placement positions have been allocated to projects within the Donegal area, of which the MOVILLE AND DISTRICT FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE are one.
The ground breaking community leaderships programme will be the first apprenticeship of its kind in youth work in youth arts.
The young community leaders will complete a range of qualifications including an NVQ level 3 in youth work.
It is envisaged that this position will be filled in Summer 2009.
