How do I add my organisation's details to the families.ie website?
Firstly, are you sure that you are not already listed on the site? Try doing a quick search using the search box at the top of the page first. If you're sure that your not listed, you can register by clicking the link at the bottom left of any page that says 'Register Your Organisation' and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have registered, your organisation will be put forward for validation by our board. This is to ensure that only legitimate organisations are listed on the site. IT MAY BE A FEW DAYS BEFORE YOU APPEAR IN OUR LISTINGS - PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER MORE THAN ONCE.

 

 

My details are incorrect on your website - can I change them?
The families.ie website has been set up so that every organisation listed on the site has the ability to edit their details and add more information at any time themselves. When the website was set up, every organisation was sent a letter with instructions on how to choose their own username and password. If you did not receive this letter or can not find it, please send us an email to request to change your username and password.
Once you have a username and password, you can use the link at the top of the page to log in, and this will take you to your profile homepage. From here, you can edit any of the details that we hold about your organisation.

 

 

Can anyone put information onto the website?
Because of the nature of the families.ie website, registering to list an organisation or posting articles and event listings is restricted to legitimate organisations and all registered organisations go through a vetting process by our board. This is to ensure that all the information that is listed on the site is correct and stays within certain guidelines.
However, we do have a forum which is open to anyone and members of the public as well as organisations can register for this. We suggest that you register for the forum so that you can discuss issues relating to you.

 

 

I would like to put a link to my organisations on your hotlines page - how do I do this?
We are always open to having organisations listed on our hotlines page. If you feel that your organisation should be listed, please get in contact with us and we will see about putting it on the site. If at all possible, we like to have a similar link placed on your organisations website leading back to the families.ie website.
